EDUC 5020 - SAT Prep Course – Math and Verbal Preparation
Wednesdays, May 6 – May 27, 5:30 – 9:10 p.m. Fee: $150, includes text

FD SC 5004 - Food Science Explorations – Age group 12-15
June 16 – June 18, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Have you ever looked at a bowl of ice cream and wondered how’s it made? Well here’s your chance! Come explore the science behind food products. Learn the secrets to making good ice cream and why Mentos and Diet Coke create an explosive reaction. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron. All other supplies will be provided. Lunch will be provided. Fee: $125

AN SC 5002 - Discover Veterinary Science – Age group 12-15
July 7 – 9, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Do you love animals? Have you always wondered what it would be like to be a veterinarian? The discover Veterinary Science day camp is a hands-on way to explore what it is like to be a veterinarian. Participants will learn about large and small animal care, first aid and emergency care, and explore careers in the veterinary field. Please bring a bag lunch. Fee: $125

ART 5269 - Create Wooden Toys – Age group 8-11
July 13 – 17, Half Day: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. /Full Day: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Many of Leonardo da Vinci's great inventions were scientific marvels...and make excellent toys! Fill your toy box with wooden creations of your own that came from Leonardo's designs. In the half day camp we'll create a& clockwork car, attack a castle with your own catapult, project an image through a camera obscura, and show your artistic side while making a revolving stage with figures that dance or jump! In the full day camp you'll construct more wooden inventions including a pinball machine, a robot drummer where you set the rhythm, and a paddlewheel boat that you can race. Science is combined with play to bring you this awesome new camp. (We will be working with tools.) Fee: $175/half day and $295/full day. Full day campers bring a bag lunch.

SCIED 5527 - Jr. Investigative Team - Age group 4-6
August 3 – 7, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
"Hey there, future Science Explorers, do we have the camp for you!" Join our team of curious tiny-techs as we explore a new theme each day. We will create an edible ocean, experiment with a "magic" magnet bottle, investigate butterflies, discover how birds adapt to their environments and make colorful sidewalk chalk! Children are never too young to be scientists! Fee: $175
